Welcome to Pocono Raceway on beautiful July 10th where some of the (if not) the fastest cars from all around the Country and East Coast have arrived ready to get the shit beat out of them. This is the 3rd event and the 2nd year for Slipstream Racing Events Roll Races at Pocono and they’ve garnered quite the attention. With a packed roster in every class, the diversity of cars brought everything like Innovative Motorworks 700hp+ Civic, a Underground Racing Lambo or two pushing well over 1000hp, and a duo of Mazda Mazdaspeed 3 hatchbacks that were upsetting supercars all day long.
This has become my favorite motorsport event over the past few years because of how it brings together people from every walk of life and cars from every crowd. Nobody is left out of place, and some even prove to be faster than others ever possible. Nowhere else will you see an E30 BMW with a rusted hood pull neck and neck on a McLaren Mp4-12C. Stuff like this makes me feel like a kid again and makes getting sunburnt totally worthwhile.
The photos are going to be in no particular order (but seem to have uploaded somewhat backwards from throughout the day), and I apologize to whomever I missed getting actions shots of. I’m only 1 man and was running around like a lunatic trying to capture everything. Come back in October and we can try again ;].
If anybody would like to purchase an Image/Print please contact me either via my facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/Photography.One or via email at P1photog@yahoo.com. I hope you enjoy and feel free to tag/share with your friends.
From what I’m told, this is like seeing unicorns out in the wild. These blue Supras are more rare than I could have ever realized.
2 cars you’d never expect to be doing 160+mph
I love the new Huracan and the owner of this one for bringing it out.
The Mp4-12C isn’t bad either >.>
The man himself, Steven Nestore, enjoying the fruits of his labor at the end of the day.
GoPros add 10mph
That right there is a Honda Civic pulling bus lengths on new Huracan.
The Black Betty stalks it’s prey.
If you look closely, there’s a lot more nice white cars than you might have realized.
The heart of a monster.
I love that the owner of this Bentley wasn’t afraid to run it all day, and I love the color of it next to that gorgeous blue on the Audi S7.
These 2 were your top dogs throughout out the day. Underground Racing vs. Switzer Performance.
These Speed3’s were no joke.
This UGR Lambo owner was ready to have some fun. I can only imagine what a car like this is like considering it has 15x the horsepower of my 85 Toyota MR2 (104hp/90/lb).
V10 or V8?
M or AMG?
This is not what I expected to see coming to the event. And you could say I fell madly in love with the new Porsche GT3.
I’ve also never seen a legit RS5 yet in the states and this one was fantastic, the color had some amazing hues in the sunlight and from certain angles.
It was also my first time seeing the new Huracan in person, and like a tourist, I fanboyed and paparazzi’d the car every time it drove by. I don’t think I can have enough photos of these cars ever.
I could live with this traffic jam all day every day.
Like i said, I fell in love with this car. Now to see it in every color, especially that Barney Purple that Porsche offers on it.
New C7 Z06
New Viper TA, absolutely love the orange and the fact that there were 3 Vipers there in total.
This CTS-V was such an eye catcher.
The Snake Pit.
American Muscle Story.
SUNOCO should sponsor me and this owner and we can go around the country promoting their gas.
Love the 3rd brake light on the new Viper.
Just 2 k20 powered FWD Honda/Acura’s showing up bright and early prepared to do some emotional damage.
Roaring through the tunnel at 8am never sounded so good.
If this is what German Dreams are made of then count me in.
The new Z06 looks great in person and even better in the Blue exterior and Red interior color combo.
Rolling through Tech Inspection.
And this is the Italian Dream I suppose.
I hope you all enjoyed. Everything can be found on my flickr in high res here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/p1photography
