The stage is set for the biggest show on the East Coast, Tuner Evolution. Jay Martinez and his crew have done it once again and put on the highest quality car show to date. With only the best of the best in attendance, the Expo Center outside of Philadelphia was the home of the highest quality builds on the East Coast
After the show halls were full and the spectators exited for the Fire Marshall walk, I used the little bit of time I had before admittance to get as many shots as I could before the halls filled with eager enthusiasts. As I mingled with owners, vendors and spectators, I came to realize that this was exactly what I’ve been waiting for in a show. The competition (despite being very real) didn’t extend past the cars themselves, everyone was getting together, media guys were having fun, and vendors were constantly interacting with someone. It was the perfect display of what a mature automotive should act like. Other than a few hiccups throughout the day, the show went on and the best cars from the Beast Coast took home their respective trophies. I can’t wait to see what next year brings seeing as it will be Jay and Tuner Evolution’s 10th year, I know he’s got something big planned.
